Terms of Service

Last updated: April 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, APIs, and other services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Skybridge Labs, LLC, a Colorado single-member limited liability company ("Skybridge Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), including the corporate site at skybridge-labs.com and the product site at getinformed.app. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who may use the Services

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to enter into a paid subscription. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that your use of the Services does not violate any applicable law or regulation. If you are accessing the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are offered on a monthly subscription basis and are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the payment method on file for the applicable plan fee each billing period until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. When you cancel, your subscription will remain active through the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Except as required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. For full details, see our Refund Policy.

We may change prices or plan features from time to time. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period after we notify you. If you do not agree with a price change, your remedy is to cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Free tier, fair use, and rate limits

Free and paid plans are subject to published request limits and reasonable fair-use expectations. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access if your usage materially exceeds these limits, degrades the Services for others, or appears to be automated abuse. Where practical, we will notify you before taking enforcement action.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of the Services is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

6. User content and AI output

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Services (for example, watchlist items, notes, or API inputs). You grant Skybridge Labs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Services.

Some features generate AI-produced summaries, analyses, or answers. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and is provided for convenience only. Do not rely on AI output as legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Always verify important information against the underlying source documents.

7. Third-party data and government sources

Project: Informed and related Services ingest and display information originally published by third parties, including the United States Congress, Congress.gov, and GovInfo.gov. We do not author, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of that underlying information. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. government or any agency thereof.

8. API terms

If you access the Services through our API, you agree not to exceed the rate limits associated with your plan, not to share or resell API credentials, and not to use the API to build a product that is substantially similar to and competitive with the Services. We may revoke API keys at any time for violations of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Services, including all software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks (other than your user content and third-party data), are owned by Skybridge Labs or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services as permitted by these Terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue a Service. On termination, provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including intellectual-property ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-resolution provisions) will survive.

12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Skybridge Labs does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the underlying data will be accurate, complete, or timely.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skybridge Labs and its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Skybridge Labs from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Except for claims for injunctive relief related to intellectual property, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms here and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
